Complete PS3 RPG List (Disc-based)

I’ve been debating on whether, or not, to create this list for some time now. It’s obviously going to have games omitted from the list periodically, but that’s because the system’s library has not yet been completed. For now, post below whenever you see an omission and I will do my best to quickly update and change it.

The music is public domain and a remix uploaded by an anonymous individual to a site where they remix scores from various video games. The song is called, “Few Paths Forbidden,” and it comes from the game, “Seiken Densetsu 3.”

This is a complete NTSC-U & PAL RPG list for the PS3. This is disc-based only, meaning I have skipped over any RPG titles that are currently only available on the Playstation network. Seeing as there are no official covers for those titles, and some games originated from other platforms, it wouldn’t be fair to either them, or the actual disc-based games to have them on the same list. I may make another list down the road, but for now this one will be disc-based only.

    – Tales of Zestiria.

  2. Most listed are RPGs to me.Most shouldn't get there pants tight. Not everyone will agree to the definition of what is a RPG game.

  3. If you didn't know… an rpg is defined as any game where your character gains some sort of experience points to advance in level

  4. "Story" is not an element exclusively used by RPG. EXP in this game is used more like a type of currency, units don't gain it individually like DOWII, you use it to upgrade the whole class like in Starcraft, and to PAY FOR THE ORDERS. Item upgrades are once again, like Starcraft, or Homeworld, or X-Com.
A RPG got to have a proper progressive system. VC is closer to X-Com than any other RPG, and even X-Com games have stuff like individual leveling up and inventory management.
